Long-distance lovers Ellie and Sylvia are savoring their last moments together on the 4th of July before they find themselves launched into the zombie apocalypse. The virus, however, seems to only be targeting those who consume conservative media outlets. When they seek shelter in Sylvia’s parents’ basement, the family barbecue takes a grisly turn. Our Price to Pay explores the mindsets of conservatives and the power of queer resistance.
